All Alone!!
Here it is 11:30 PM and I just got home from work, and there is nobody here. Not that there should be, cos I live alone, but I am lonely right now. Not like there is nobody for me "lonely", just there is no one to talk to "lonely". And this isn't some kind of cry for Help or any kind of pressure to get a roommate. I like living alone for the most part, but I guess I am just bored right now and I don't want to watch TV by myself and nobody is online, so here I sit at the computer talking to you all, and the weird thing is that when you all read this, I will be at work tomorrow, and not feel like this anymore. I guess the real problem here is that I don't have a book to read right now. I have read almost everything here twice... And I need a book to help me wind down after work. Oh the tragedy of nothing to read!!!! Goodness I need a life...

No News is Good News
I know I know I haven't been on in awhile. Sorry! Busy week and everything in life is going smooth, So what is there to write about. My car is running great and things at work seem to be ok, and Rudy is Wonderful. My week since I last updated.... I watched Lance Armstrong win his 6th Tour de France, it was a little anti-climactic considering he was 17th in the last stage, but still amazing in it's own right. I had never watched the Tour De France before, I thought it was a race just in Paris, first guy across the finish line wins! Wow was I ever wrong! It's like 21 days of racing with only 2 days off. It's up and over mountains, through villages, Rain, one guy last year broke his collar bone and still finished the race. They are going an average of 40mph on bikes, It was very cool. WTG LANCE! I had a Saturday off, which was nice. Rudy and I went to Denio's Flea Market/Auction. Where I bought a pretty wind chime for my sissers new house. Rudy and I went over to the new place to give it to her and she wasn't there. Being crafty people Rudy and I decide to hang it up, in the middle of the walk way, where they will have to almost walk around it, but so they see it. You would think being in such an obvious spot they would see it. Her, Her husband, Kids.... Nope, they all walked right past it. I even called my sisser to tell her I left something there, she walks outside looks around still doesn't see it! She hears the tinkling from it and then goes and looks! Sheesh! On Monday I had a doctor appt. It was my yearly obgyn appt. Sounds fun huh? So after its all done the Doctor turns off the spot light he has on me and stands up and says "everything is in the right place". ????? Huh? Was it gonna move? Should I be worried? I can worry. I really can. But really everything is good on that front too...ie no moving parts. After my Appt. I went to sissers new house and helped her paint. And paint. And then the kitchen was done so I painted the closet! The tempature outside was 104. So as I painted I got hot, then sweaty, got stinky, by the time I was done in the closet I was FUNKY! It was so hot. Tuesday was moving day. Which normally means that everything is boxed up and ready to move out of one house and into another. Well my family is NOT normal and shame on me for thinking like that! Donnie came over and He and Larry loaded up all the boxes from the garage. That was 1 load all by itself. Then came back and got all the major appliances and furniture, so sisser is almost moved in. She still has all the cleaning to do but, her house is looking pretty good. Work... What can I say... It's ok. Our new Area Manager is coming for a visit on Friday, but I am not worried. Seth is back from his Honeymoon, so my life is easier there. And Jackie is making noise about getting a raise or quitting. Bye! That's a nice way of saying it too. If she leaves oh well! And that is my life...

~worst-case scenario ~
Kermie is working AGAIN!!!! We didn't have to replace the oil-pump or the bearings as Rudy feared she needed oil in a bad way. Well it really isn't that simple, there's a leak from the main oil seal, a slow leak but a leak none the less. So until I can afford to get her in the shop to be fixed I will be checking my oil once a week, and keeping my eye on my gauges while I drive. On top of it all I also got my Registration fee notice from DMV, nice huh? But it's only $49 so not too bad. Today was a GREAT day. I went to my sissers, spent some time with the kids and just stayed cool in her spa. I had a lot of fun! Then Rudy picked me up went to his place to work on Kermie and then went to the mall, came home went for a bike ride(I am getting better), and watched Lance Armstong kick some Major booty in the Tour de France . All in all it was a great day and Kermie is running AGAIN!!!!!

~Too good to be true ~
Yesterday Rudy and I decide to go to San Francisco for the day. So I drive there in Kermie. It was AWESOME! San Francisco is just beautiful, and the weather was gorgeous. It was only 79 in SF while it was like 101 in Sacramento. I felt all accomplished because 1. I drove for 2 hours on the freeway 2. I handled San Francisco traffic and 3. I went over 2 bridges with my eyes open!! Hey sisser hear that EYES OPEN! I was so scared! It was so crowded there we have never really gone on a weekend so we've never seen it packed as it was. We walked along Pier 39, then over to the Port of San Francisco for the Farmers Market. After all that I was hungry, but the chowder in SF isn't as good as in Monterey, so I didn't want that. I wanted real food. We look at the menus on Pier 39, nothing really strikes our fancy plus they are packed! So we walk down to Fisherman's Wharf to do a little shopping and get some LUNCH! We stop at No.9 Fisherman's Grotto to look over the menu and it's expensive and Rudy asks do I want to eat here? I just point at the prices and he says "come on we never eat like this when come here" So upstairs we go. We are seated at the window with view of the Bay and the shops and have a wonderful lunch. Oysters on the half shell for an appetizer, I had 2. They were really fresh and I put enough lemon and tabasco sauce so I didn't taste anything really bad. Rudy had braised salmon w/ creamed tartar sauce, I had a seafood combo that had scallops, crab leg meat, prawns, and calimari pan fried in a white wine sauce. It was AMAZING!!! Everything was so good. Rudy hardly winced when he got the bill. Atleast it was under $100 not much under but still under. After that we went to The Rainforest Cafe not to eat but to buy coffee mugs, they have the best coffee mugs there. We also bought some coffee beans on the Pier. Hawaiian Chocolate Macadamia Nut coffee. Yum, the real reason we went to SF. We were out of coffee. Hehehehe, and that completes our day in SF. I drive home... Sounds like a great day huh? And with the week I had I needed a nice day off and away from everything. It sounded so easy right? With all the work Rudy did on my car, he is My Mechanic. Everything should run smooth. Is that too much to ask for? Well the answer to that is ... YES!!!! My car is broken AGAIN! Can I please have 2 weeks with this thing running? It's the oil pump this time. Needs replacing... Go Honey! Sorry baby, and Thank you!

~Never Ending~
After the last day I had at work I just want to go in and let the day breeze bye. Is that expecting too much? I don't think so, but I could be wrong, in this case I am. I go in to work at 7am put the food order away send employees home to save labor because it is very slow, and as my day is ending Carol asks if the back up dishwasher are coming in on time. I told her yes I spoke with both of them and they said they would be on time. So 5 o'clock comes and goes and I am still at work because it is getting busy and I hate leaving like that. I am in the office finishing up, when Carol comes and tells me that I was told that dishwasher/backup were going to be late again. (They are brothers and they have a day job together also). I was told??? No they had told me they would be on time. They told Nivea that they had told me that they would be late. So Carol comes to me all pissy because she thinks I knew. I told her if I would have known then I would have set myself up. And she was like"yeah your right" Needless to say I didn't get out of there until almost 7. That's almost 12 hours if I would have stayed longer I could've had DOUBLE TIME!!! I was thinking of stopping out at the lake to say Hi, but it was too late for that. I went and picked up Rudy and we went shopping and had dinner. I am getting ready to go to work now. Wish me Luck!

~Wake Up Call ~
Today I was scheduled to work at 11am-9pm. I get a phone call at 8:30am from Don the morning manager at work. He leaves a message but since I was asleep I didn't hear it all. So I call because I was thinking someone called in sick, or some sort of emergency, why else would he call me 2 1/2 hours early? You know why he called me? No one is sick No emergency He just wanted to call and make sure I was going to make it to work on time because he has to leave for a delivery. He calls me 2 1/2 hours early to make sure I won't be late. Ok I know I left that other post about how I was late to work, but that is not common for me at all. If I am late it's minutes as in under 5. So when I ask him why he is calling to tell me this when I am not normally late he says "well when you walked to work you were sometimes late." "Sometimes late"???? Under 5 minutes is not late in my book or my managers either, she told me so. And Walking??? I haven't walked to work in DAYS!!! So WTF? He woke me up...grrrrrrrrrrrrrr I was pissed when I went into work. I showed up about 10-15 minutes early since he was worried about a delivery order, but was it ready? Don't you think if your gonna call someone to make sure they are on time that you should be ready? I could have shown up like normal and he still would have been ok. Oh some days he just drives me BONKERS!!!! So ofcourse with a morning like that, the rest of the day is CRAP!!!! My dishwasher and Back-up (cook) were 2-1/2 hours late The highlight of my day was walking into my apartment and finding Rudy asleep on the couch. I go in to my room and change and he wakes up says hello and gives me this GREAT BIG HUG!!! It was one of those days that nothing seems to be going your way but a hug just makes you feel better. We sat and watched The World Poker Tour and then he went home. My day ended right even if it started wrong! I HATE WAKE UP CALLS!!!

~Hello ~
Well Kermie is still running!!!! Radio is AWESOME!! Got a lil remote control and everything... Don't know how to program the silly thing but I will learn. Oh yes I will!! Air conditioning is the greatest thing ever invented. How did this women in the 1800s wear all those clothes with no AC? That's just crazy! Nothing new going on lately. Just working and stuss. Work seems to going ok. No problems so far.Vacation seems like its gonna take forever to get here. Don't really know what we are going to do in Detroit. That kinda worries me. I am really excited. Rudy is too, but since we are taking it together, and Sance and Mike still have to work, I don't know what we will do. I am sure it will work out fine. I get to see sisser so that's all that matters hehehehehehehe!!!! Oh and everyone have fun at the lake! I have to work that day. ok that's all see you soon!!!!

~*~Update Already!!!~*~
Ok OK I know I know I really wanted this web page and I thought I would update all the time, well as you can see I don't! hehehehe So here is my update. Golly where to start... ~> Seth and Becky are married! WTG They are a couple that met while working with me at Boston Market. They are 20 and 22 years old and everyone thinks this is a problem, "they are so young", They are perfect for eachother. Both church going , strong family ties, and no roaming eyes! This is the second wedding I have been to for couples that have met while working at Boston Market. Its so cute! ~>had a very busy day at work! We are supposed to close at 10 but everyone kept coming at drive thru, and the rule as long there is a car at the window you have to take the next order. Cars kept coming til 10:20!!! So when I closed I was rushing to get done. I needed to pick up my honey! While in the office I I realize I forgot something up front, so I leave the money on the counter, pat my pockets to check if I have my swipe card, and RUN!!!! Up front, get what I need and run back to the office. As I reach for my office keys I look through the office window and I start checking my pocket again and again because what I see cant be real! That's right! You guessed it! LOCKED OUT!! Keys are right next to the cash! I wanted to cry! I called another manager to come let me in but that took 30 minutes. And so you know its been a really long time since I have done that! ~> The reason I needed to pick up Rudy was because the next morning he was going to drop me off at the work so I could meet up with Carol to go to the wedding and he was gonna take my car to install the radio. Well I now have tunes! Its pretty cool. ~*~THANK YOU RUDY~*~ My boyfriend Rudy is amazing! He has fixed my car countless time and I have only had it 2 months! It has been so hot here and he is outside under the hood fixing kermie! The only thing that he couldn't fix was my AC. Well when he had my car to install the radio, he fixed it! I now have a perfectly running car with tunes and an AC!!! ROAD TRIP!!! J/k So he has done 2 starter motors, and my belts, tune up, timing belt and adjustment, water up, transmission thingy, bought and installed a radio, the AC and he oiled all the doors so they don't squeak any more! And on top of all that he bought me a bike, so we can go riding together! He is amazing and I love him. BACK OFF GIRLS HE IS MINE!!!!! So Thank you Rudy!!! I love you!!!!

~Opps! ~
Well ya know how I said I had to be at work at 7am? Well I overslept. Like didn't wake up til after 7am. I remember setting the alarm, I remember turning it on, and double checking to make sure that I set it for am not pm. And I think I turned it off this morning in a dream. well atleast thats what I think...Dont always remember dreams. It was a good thing I wasnt the opening manager, and that I live 2 minutes away...hehehehe. When I got to work they didn't even know I was late sooooooo I didn't tell them. I ended up staying late to work on the employee schedule and then I went home and changed. This evening I picked up Rudy, went to best buy to get a gift card for Rudy's friends birthday, and then went to dinner at Denny's (who now has a low carb menu) came home watched some TV, went for a bike ride, and then drove Rudy home. After the way it began I had a pretty good day! <----oh and check out the count down til Detroit!!! Honey put it up for me!!!!

~EXCITED!!!! ~
I know I know 2 posts in one day about the same thing; strange but known to happen. I am really excited about going to see Sance & Rudy is coming too!! We already have some plans for when we get there. We are gonna go to Detroit and see the Muscle Car Museum, take a drive to Canada, and Sance & I are gonna play BINGO! Well she says we are but she doesn't know where they play yet. Lived there for how long?, and doesn't know where the bingo halls are. That is so sad! ~Let there be music! ~ More good news... Rudy got me( got me, sheesh, GREAT ENGLISH, huh? I talk GOOD!) I mean Bought me a radio/CD/mp3 player for my car, Kermie. All we are waiting for now is the harness and wiring kit and he will install it. So you can add that to his list of stuff he has worked on in my poor lil Kermie. For all you wondering I did name my car Kermie, like Kermit the frog. Not because she is a green car (cos that would make sense) but because she is filled with all kinds of Froggies! Seat covers, steering wheel, dashboard, control panel, and plate frames. I da sille frog gol! Three lil speckled frog sitting on a speckled log eating the most delicious bugs, YUM! YUM... sille song. Honey sing it for me!?! ok well its off to beddie bye for me now I have to Open tomorrow and that means 7am so nite all

~A day of rest ~
ok so I was wrong it was only 2 days that I work really long shifts I work the 3rd on Saturday. I will be off on a Friday. How cool is that. so on my Friday off I need to make an apointment for my annual pap smear YEA!!! God I hate that! Today I left my house early and I didn't call Rudy, this is strange because I ALWAYS call him in the morning just to hello and to let him know my plans... Well I didn't do it today. So when I called him later while I had some time and Carol had already left, he ofcourse was upset. Not pissed but upset, just like "why didn't you call?" See what happens when you break habits? I should have called but I had some stuff to do since I woke up early AGAIN!! ~Sorry Baby~
